Maria and Alex; so many great things to say about these two! I remember the first time I spoke with Maria over the phone I got off and told my husband, “I hope she picks me to help with her wedding, because I really liked her!” Well my wish was granted and I was so honored to be apart of their special day. The love for these two runs deep with all their family and friends, and this wedding was a long time coming for these lovebirds. It was truly a friend and family affair all wedding weekend – Uncle Cesare officiated, cousin Tommy was spinning the music, and “Papa Joe” supplied the late night snacks from his pizzeria, Genoa Pizza. There were so many special moments from the day and these are just a few of my favorite highlights!
1.) Maria’s dress – I mean come on…it’s pure sparkle AND it has a detachable skirt that gave two looks/vibes…say what?!
2.) All the Italian traditions/touches added to the day, like the almond candies for guests to grab at the end of the night.
3.) The toasts! So many amazing toasts from Maria and Alex’s parents, their bridal party, and the couple themselves. They laughed, they cried, and they laughed again.
I enjoyed reliving their day through these photos and video and I hope you do too!
