Van’s ‘Off The Wall’ Themed Birthday Party: Connor turns 7!
They say time goes fast, and boy does it. I remember holding Connor as a newborn and now I’m holding him as a 7 year old! I’m so happy he still loves to cuddle with mom. Connor has always been that boy that makes a new friend wherever he goes, never whines, and just always has a positive attitude. Let’s hope that doesn’t change with year 7!
I love a good Summer birthday, because there are so many more options to celebrate. This year Connor said, “Mom I want a Vans Off the Wall themed party!”, so by golly we had a Vans Off the Wall themed party and boy was it fun. We did a family friends hangout/smoke out, so everyone could celebrate. This year Vans partnered with Haribo gummies and Sesame Street, so instead of birthday cake we did “skate shakes” incorporating Haribo gummy bears and chocolate chip cookies for “cookie monster” inspired shakes. Kids were asking for another shake weeks after the party, so I would say it was a hit!
