Abby + Logan’s Hotel Fort Des Moines Wedding

If there’s one wedding where I wished I was a guest; it’s Abby and Logan’s. These two were not only amazing to work with, but so were both of their families. The love from everyone for these two on their wedding day was palpable. A marriage is not only about uniting the bride and groom, but also uniting two families as one. Abby and Logan did just that! When Abby explained to me that their guests LOVED to dance I totally underestimated her, because when wedding day came I had never seen a group that danced that much. Their wedding guests filled the dance floor from start to finish, and it was amazing!

These two held a traditional Catholic ceremony with no first look, took a little trip to the Capitol Building for some fun bridal party shots, and then headed to Hotel Fort Des Moines for an evening of celebration. Champagne, blush, and gold accents were used throughout the day for a timeless look. A few rain sprinkles appeared post-ceremony, but it was all in good luck, and quickly went away.

I’m so glad I finally got to sharing this wedding because Jennifer Weinman Photography and Austin Goode Films did an amazing job capturing their love and wedding day so perfectly. I had fun re-living Abby and Logan’s wedding, and I hope you do too!
