Signature Wedding Cocktail Ideas – The Blue-Eyed Groom with Hpnotiq Liquor

Tomorrow marks 11-years since I walked down the aisle to meet the best blue-eyed groom a girl could ask for. We always hear about time flying and it’s so true! All week I’ve been thinking how has 11 years gone by so quickly, yet it feels like just yesterday?! Usually each anniversary we do a nice dinner and haven’t bought gifts on an anniversary…ever! Crazy, right? This year while I was browsing in Hy-Vee for a wine gift I saw Hpnotiq liquor sitting on the shelf and it took me back to 11 years ago. That’s because Hpnotiq was the pretty blue color of our wedding and our signature cocktail. When I was engaged I went to a bridal event that had Hpnotiq liquor promoting the brand with samples. I knew I had to serve some of this fruity liquor at my wedding because it matched so perfectly and tasted delicious. Right then the “blue-eyed groom” cocktail was officially apart of the Secrest wedding day. I reached out to Hypnotiq begging to buy some of their perfectly sized martini sized rock candy sticks like I saw at the bridal show and they so graciously replied and sent them…for FREE! Talk about a total bride win. I was so excited! Our guests were coming up to us the entire night telling us how delicious the signature cocktail was. That being said, this year I thought I would surprise my groom and mixup our signature drink for the two of us to enjoy together like we did 11 years ago.
