A Colorful Book Themed Baby Shower

It’s crazy to think that sweet Baby “E” has already been in the world four months! Today I’m looking back on his child book themed baby shower, and what better day to do that than National Book Day! I always enjoy working with Marg to throw a party. She is detail-oriented, creative, and efficient when it comes to planning details; so her parties are always enjoyed by all. When she threw out the idea of a book theme I envisioned fun bright colors, which inspired the invite design. Dad-to-be loved Curious George as a child and mama-to-be loved the book Corduroy, so we incorporated both books into the day with various fun titles displayed for food/decor, including tasty banana Nutella French macarons. Of course the shower wouldn’t be complete without some “book worms” as party favors!
