Downtown Amoré: A Valentine Inspired Proposal

It’s here! Valentine’s weekend is officially kicking off and I just love LOVE! It’s bitter cold in the Midwest and I’m thinking a romantic at-home dinner and couch snuggles are in order all weekend. Valentine’s Day is always a hot day for engagements, so I thought it would be fun to create a winter Valentine inspired proposal/save the date look. When Nicole Laing Photography said “hey, let’s take some photos at the Tea Room” – I was in! What’s not to love about this historic venue located right in the heart of Downtown Des Moines. It’s all the things I love; clean, classic, and elegant!

That being said, I gathered some amazing local vendors to put together something soft and romantic with a few “sweet” touches for Valentine’s Day. I hope you all enjoy it just as much as I do! Also, anyone out there looking to propose?
